TikTok star Waffler69 (spelled Wafffler69 on TikTok) is dead at age 33, according to a video uploaded by his brother.
TikTok star Waffler69 has died at age 33. Waffler69 (also known as Wafffler69 with three f's) earned a sizable social media following for his videos where he ate strange foods. While he had a YouTube channel and Instagram, and recently started uploading content on Facebook, TikTok is where Waffler69 rose to fame, amassing 1.7 million followers and 32.8 million likes across his videos.
Waffler69, whose real first name is Taylor, found success for eating bizarre foods, like a canned cheeseburger. Some of his more popular videos saw him eat expired foods, like officially licensed cereal that originally came out in 1989 to promote Tim Burton's Batman movie or canned food items from decades ago. His older videos saw him making meals from food he purchased at the Dollar Tree. Viewers also got a kick out of the random retro VHS tapes and DVDs that would appear in his videos. His success eventually saw him branch out to Cameo, selling merchandise, and even releasing his own Waffler Seasoning.
In the early morning hours of January 12, Waffler69's brother, who is known on TikTok as claydorm and has appeared in some of his videos, shared the tragic news that Taylor had passed away. According to claydorm's video, Waffler69 died around 10pm on January 11 from a "presumed heart attack." Claydorm asked those viewing the video to keep his brother's legacy alive by continuing to watch his content. "Keep him alive. He loved making people happy."
